Dr.'s Apptmt Last Night =)

So we went to our month visit to see the 'little one'. Poor JA was so patient as we WAITED forever to be called (ONE drawback of this place ).

The Dr. tried to hear the HB with the doppler, and (as per the Dr.) due to the way my placenta was laying, we couldnt hear it well, so we had another SONO! (YAYYY! Every preggo's favorite freebie!!)
It was INCREDIBLE once again! I FORGOT that the baby is SOO active already at this point!
He told me Im 13weeks (I thought I was 12 John was like 'with the last one, you knew to the DAY!'
The baby was flopping around all over. Tiny, yet much bigger than I expected. It was SOO Worth the wait!

Get this one. Ive been PIGGING OUT, but I havent gained ANY weight !
With my last preg it was the same. I was slow to gain in the beginning, and quicker in the end
, so it will creep up at one point or another!

On the way out (you know me, cant hurt to ask for a freebie) I asked the nurse that made my next apptmt if they had any Prenatal Samples, and told her which ones im taking. and she goes 'OH YES! HERE YOU GO !!!' and gave me a box the size of a big entenmanns cake (like my comparison? ) FULL of them!
and I was like 'OH WOW, thank you!' I thought I was going to get 2 pills and she goes 'PLEASE PLEASE ask EVERY TIME you come, we have TONNNSSS!!'
They were excited that I asked and practically threw them at me

So that was my drawn out Dr's visit...

I cant beleive this! It really hits me when I start showing... CANT WAIT !!!!!!!

How great is that!!!!

My doctors office used to tell me to call ahead of time to see if they were running on time. Sometimes they would tell me to show up an hour later. I prefered to be home then in the office!! Maybe you can do the same.

Actually Tracy, they do that also (Which I LOVE, but even coming in later, we waited a while! ) But we like them so much, that we forget about the fustration!!

I was so excited to see my peanut at that stage also!!! We were also shocked how active & how defined everything already was ... but even more so b/c we'd never seen anything like that before!! Given the state of my baby's activities these days, that sonogram was a pretty good indication of how active it would be later on! some days I feel like I'll give birth to an Olympian Athlete!!! The kicking and rolling NEVER stops ... sometimes in very uncomfortable areas of my belly

But how great for you!! Glad everything is going well & good news about the scale! Keep up the good work ... maybe its a boy ... they say a bigger appetite and lower weight gain may indicate ... A little brother for JA would be nice!
