DRUG BUST!!!!!!!!

DID ANYONE HEAR ABOUT THIS..........

Police confiscated more than 100 pounds of cocaine, $5 million in cash and an array of guns in a bust of what officials are calling the largest cocaine network in Suffolk history.

Authorities say the bust capped a three month investigation that spanned eight states. In total, officials say more than 450 pounds of cocaine with a street value of $40 million were confiscated. Police say members of the drug ring transported the cocaine from Mexico via California, using sophisticated compartments in audio speakers, foozeball tables and fish tanks.

Police have made eight arrests, three of whom were Long Islanders. The local arrests include a Suffolk County corrections officer and a former elementary school teacher and basketball coach at North Babylon High School.

that is a lot of drugs. i always wondered what they do with all the drugs after the bust....or even when cops took away the beer we used to have when we were underage.

I DON'T KNOW ABOUT SUFFOLK COUNTY, BUT....NYPD, AFTER SOME POINT THEY BURN IT AT THE REFUEL INCINERATOR (THE BIG SMOKE STACKS YOU CAN SEE FROM THE MEADOWBROOK PKWY)

Very scary to know that someone dealing with our children is involved in this sort of thing
