dry cough?

I hate this, I was just sick 2 weeks ago and I think I'm getting sick again. My throat is scratchy/dry feeling and I have this dry cough. Nothing else is really wrong, maybe a little tired. Anyone else? I hope this is not the beginning of the FLU

I am home sick today. I have a really bad sore throat and I'm all stuffed up My Mom was sick, then DH and now me. Anyone know how to make my throat feel better? I'm miserable.

I was sick on my HM - got the sinus infection that my mom, sister, BIL, aunt and DH had right after the wedding. I have a cough now, but it's more productive, for lack of a better word. Dry cough usually indicates an allergy, I think. Are you allergic to mold, grasses, etc?? I know grass is not 'in season' now, but maybe there is something out there causing you to react? Check out weather.com's allergy forecast and see what they say is high now ... and feel better! Get some robitussin, the 'cough suppresant' one.

its weird, I had a bad cold/sinus infection almost 2 weeks ago, my nose was running like ive never experienced, sneezing, sinus pressure, ear aches etc. now this ... I wonder if it is related. maybe it is in response to the heat in my house? so weird, im going to go get the cough meds.

this maybe do to the dry heat inside and cold dry air outside.....
lots of fluids to stay hydrated
maybe a humidifier to help you sleep and breathe easier
but everyone needs to rest and be healthy this time of year....
dont forget your vitamins

Sounds like exactly what I had. I took advil or tylenol, whatever I could find, around the clock. My throat was so bad that I would wake up in the middle of the night when my meds wore off - and I would take more. I took 3 at a time, too. And, my doc said that 3 advil / motrins / ibuprofens were GOOD for my sinuses too - do you have pressure in your forehead and nose? If you do, the advil should help to open up the blocked passages, my doc said.

Feel better date twin!!! (we are almost at one month! what happened to this month???)

it totally could be the heat in the house and the cold outside. If you have a humidifier, use it at night. or steam your face over a pot of boiling water and use a towel over your head to keep the steam on your face. Are you dry in your nose? When you blow your nose -- sorry for the gross nature of this -- is it a little bloody? If so, you are probably just really dried out - which can happen after a sinus infection because you've gotten everything out of you, I imagine.

I'm taking Advil, Robitussin CF and Benadryl at night to knock me out. Nothing helps the sore throat.
I know, the time has gone so fast Date Twin. I didn't even get a chance to tell you Congrats You looked beautiful.

I have this cough too! I had Broncitis a few weeks ago but it's still here...I cough every few seconds and I hate it!!!!! I can fee it just sitting her this rumbling in my chest and then I cough and it feels better. Anypne else have that?

I am on an inhaler and I am taking Mucinex and have cough drops too
