Does anyone know how to estimate how much sheetrock installation 'should' cost? Is it some $ per sq ft? Just an idea... I have a guy coming Monday to give me an estimate and I don't want to get totally ripped off (being I'm a girl).
the average company usually charges between 2.00 and 3.50 per square foot for sheetrock. that would be them supplying and installing it. you may be able to get a better price if you but th eproducts and just find some to do labor. finding someone to hang sheetrock is easy its the taping and spackling that is an art and harder to find someone that actually does a good job .
