I heard that they don't read the DVD's that well as they should be.
The Videographer that I had hired said that he received many complaints from the dual player.
Mine is only a year old and is in fact not reading brand new discs as well.
I cleaned it and everything but every once in awhile it happens.
Anyone else experiencing the same problems?

I would never buy one of these units. I have a APEX DVD player and it plays all DVD's...whether they are store bought or if they are CDR's, and CDRW's. It only costed my $49.
The Dual DVD and VCR players arent really good models....and they are known for not really working that well...or lasting too long. Scott

I have one and I really like it. It works fine for me and I've had it about 3-4 years ... Don't ask which brand though, I have no idea!

My sister has one and loves it. They have tons of videos but didn't want to clutter up their entertainment unit with a dvd player & a vcr.

We just brought one and my sister has had hers for a couple of years now and nothing has happened to either one.
