Dude im gonan be sick.....jus 6 months to go???

just joined today. My mind is SWIMMING with everything im reading today.

I travel for work and FH loves to put stuff off. He FINALLY finished the STD and we will mail on monday.

but we have to do invitations. Meet with Rabbi.

Im a little stressed at the money the BM's have to spend. Hair/makeup/dress/shower/gift etc.

But here is the GOOD thing. By venting I am able to WRITE IT DOWN. If I can see it I wont stress because its on the list :)

I feel better now. But NEEDED to vent. Some people get freaked out with a long list. I get freaked out when its NOT on the list.

I think I need a good 'go to' guide that says 'do this at 6 months'. (and yes I know there is one here)

Have you looked at the wedding checklist on The Knot, or this site? That should give you a good idea of all the things you need to take care of. You have plenty of time for everything so take a deep breath! The invitations usually go out 6-8 weeks before the wedding, so you have plenty of time for that. Have you looked at florists yet? DJ or band for entertainment? Do you need a limo? (We are not doing limos because our venue is in our town, and we are getting married there as well, so we are cutting out that cost). As far as the costs for the bridesmaids, I'm sure they are all aware of their financial responsibilities in regards to the wedding. Maybe if you're able to, you can try to help them out by splitting the cost of hair/makeup with them, or split the cost of their dress with them. I bought my girls' dresses for them, because I really felt badly asking them to pay $258-$298 for a dress they'll never wear again. It was a big cost to incur, but they were SO appreciative and grateful, and we haven't lost one bridesmaid yet due to financial issues! Also, I didn't receive a shower present from one of my bridesmaids/best friends...I never asked or spoke anything to her about it, but I'm guessing she just couldn't afford it? I'm just citing this example because you mentioned shower gift in the list of money the BM's 'have to spend', so just remember, they may not all get you a shower gift if they just don't have the means. Don't stress though!! You're all good!! And you've found a site that will help you with everything you need to get done!!!

I’m the day before you... fh is a procrastinator.. Everything is tomorrow with him... meanwhile I am having mini panic attacks because ahhh hello time is flying away and i still have a list of 50 million things to do. ahhh so frustrating
