Duet...

Duet...

i am not booked with Duet but i think i want to switch photographers. i LOVE everyones eng pics from Duet but can you post wedding pictures from duet or let me know brides who used them so i can check out their album thank you!

Off the top of my head, the only bride I know that used Duet is Jen2999. She has a bunch of gorgeous pics in her album.

Also, do a search for 'Duet' and search in The Bride's Review board. You'll find a ton.

I felt the same way, I loved the engagement pictures they took for our friends. However, when I saw the wedding photos I was SO GLAD we did not choose them. The pictures were horrible! If I were the bride I would have been so upset. They fall short when it comes to formal picture taking.

Wow, so sorry your friend had a bad experience. There are a whole lot of LIW ladies that have used them and shown their wedding proofs on here - MANY many many GORGEOUS wedding pics.

I love my epcs, but I had to be very pushy about taking more formal posed pictures instead of all photojournalistic ones. If you want more of that, Duet may not be the photographer for you. I want a mix, and know I have to make my point to them.

you should definitely find out from your friend who she had as their photographer- some of them are better for traditional poses and some better for photojournalistic shots. I have Jay's team booked and I think (from what I've seen) that they have a good mix of both.

Apparently a couple of their teams are better with the more photojournalistic pics (like Jay) and others are better with more formal shots (like Woo's team). I think this is why some bride's have been unhappy with their pictures - maybe they used a team that wasn't as focused on the style of pics they wanted. I definitely want some formal shots, but it's very important to me to get candids and PJ shots of the whole day - so for me Jay should be perfect. But everyone should DEFINITELY meet with their photog and really express what they want for their pics.

I used Jay's team for my Wedding and I can not say enough amazing things about him and his team. I did not get my pic's back yet, but everyone can not stop talking about how they were all over that room and was snapping away.

my cousins used Duet and their pictures were fantastic. they had Woo's team, so i think it just depends on who you talk to and what style you're looking for.
