I booked my hall and now it's time to move on to the next very important vendor, the photographer! I'm calling everywhere today to find out which places are within my budget. I called Duet because i have seen some really awesome pictures from them on here. Can you believe they are already booked on May 24th 2009 They said they only have 1 team that works on Sundays and they are booked already. Okay, which one of my 3 date twins is the culprit????

Congrats on booking leonards is beautiful i just went to a food tasting there great food thats one of our fav but dont know yet its in the top 3 lol.

Thanks! I haven't done a tasting yet I know a few people that have gone to events there and said the food was good, so I trusted their opinion. They have a tasting coming up on July 21st that I'm going to try to go to. What kind of food did they have at the tasting? Good luck with your planning

Yeah, I at least want to get my photographer booked soon. May is a really busy wedding month and the day I picked seems pretty popular too. I want to make sure I can book the photographer that I like. Then I'll sit back and chill for a little while on the wedding plans.

Ohhhhh my gosh i'm so upset, i really wanted Jay's team, I cant believe it. I didn't even think that i had to worry about that now..... I dont know who else to choose

it not me. Thanks for letting me know. i will have to get cracking on that. do you have to put a deposit to have them at the wedding, I thought that i will just wait intil a year is up to do that. should i start to call around then?

Doesnt really surprise me that they are booked... they are really popular it seems and its a holiday weekend... I am sure whoever you book with will be 10x better anyways Life always seems to work itself out

For me, photography is very important..I want to find an amazing photographer that will capture my day . Remember, years from now that is what you will have to remember your day. I want to book my photographer soon so that I don't run into the problem of everyone I like being booked and then just having to settle for who has my date open. Also May is a very busy wedding month! Look at all the May 09 brides we have already I also think my date is popular, I already have 3 date twins......

I agree everything happens for a reason...I didn't have my heart set on them anyway so I'm not upset..I was just calling to get some information on packages. I just got nervous when they said they were booked already. I thought I was getting a jump on things..but I guess there are other brides thinking the same thing.

There are plenty of photographers out there...I have only met with one and im trying my hardest to find hte money to make that one work out!

Thanks for the encourgement ladies, i know you are right.. I just had my heart set on duet and I wasn't going to look into it until next year. I guess that just means that they are not meant for me
