For those of you that had your casual shoot in NYC, did you stay in one location? If there was more than one location, how did you get around with the photographer? What happens if it rains?

I just had mine yesterday in Central Park. You do A LOT of walking! They took us to like 8 different locations throughout the park - it was very exhausting.
They cancel it before you go if it looks like it is going to rain at all.

So I guess I should wear comfy shoes? Would it be stupid to walk around in sneaks and change into my nice shoes for when they shoot?
I can't decide if I want central park or the seaport. I go on 6/28.

i had on 'kitten heels' so it wasn't too bad, although I did have to climb up on some rocks and stuff, which was a bit difficult. it's up to you - you could bring your sneaks and easily change at each location.

See that's my concern. I picked times square, where else can we go that's nearby?

We did times Square (which came out the best - we even went into Toys R Us and got some fun shots on the colorful escalators), and then walked over to Rockefeller Center and got some gorgeous pics with all the flags in the background. There are benches with flowers and pretty greens in that area too.
Our favorite pics though were the ones we took in front of St. Patricks! They came out really good.
As soon as I get them scanned I'll FM you a few.
I think that area (if you can handle the crowds) is awesome for pics - ours came out really colorful and fun.

OMG, I was just about to ask you if you could fm me some of your favorite pics. I would sooooooooooo appreciate that. Thats too funny that you mentioned Toysrus!!! I asked our photographer to meet us there!! Great minds think alike!!
