Duet Brides

After meeting with a ton of different photographers, FH and I booked with Duet on Saturday during our first visit with them. Their style is definitely a little different than what I had thought I would like but their work is amazing.

I'm so excited our photographer is finally booked but now we're on to the next decision. We are penciled in for TJ as of right now but also really like Jay's work. Can anyone recommend one over the other or point out any major differences worth noting? We are getting married at The Woodlands if that helps.

I love TJ's work but now that I've been searching more and more on here, I realize I'm still sort of confused.

yayyyyyyyyyyy u booked duet im so happy for you lol. I told ya they were good..all the girls on here were right. I booked alberto but it was between alberto and jay for me ....T.J. was already booked for my date so i didnt really bother looking at his work. but honestly they all are amazing .....FM me with what package you got and what they gave you in it...also if you stil have your F I N E A R T pricing info FM me that too...thanks hun n congrats!

I honestly think all of Duets photogs are amazing...we used Danny & Nick and were so thrilled with our pics..all 4000+ of them!

that's awesome!! i love TJ's work but i also like alberto and jay. i guess its whethere you like more traditional work or a little bit different (i find Tj a bit edgier)

im a woodlands bride too!! YAY!

I am using TJ. He took our epics and they are in my album if you want to see. He was a lot of fun to work with and after doing the epics I am even more excited to have him do my wedding pics

We are using TJ, need to schedule our Engagement pictures with him, I am soooo looking forward to it!

I wanted Alberto but he was already taken so we booked with Jay. I loved this one picture he had in his album!Also I loved the way he shot my RH!

We wanted TJ but he was booked so we took Jay. I don't think you can go wrong with any of them really! So don't stress! Go with your first instinct!

I booked TJ, I was between TJ and Jay too.... FH liked TJ's work more so we went with him. I agree with the other girls though I don't think you can go wrong with any of them...

Agreed - we have TJ but would have been thrilled with any of them, they are all so talented. And such a pleasure to work with, so far, at least.

We booked with Jay, he seemd to have the taste we were looking for but, TJ has a very similiar style.

i think theyre all great, but all different.

we chose Jay. we picked him bc looking through duet brides reviews on here. every time i LOVED someones proofs they happened to be Jays. im so excited to work with him!

I loved TJ as well... but we are booked for Alberto...I find that TJ is a bit more dramatic and his shots are darker. However all of them are very talented!

ITA - We were torn between Jay and TJ - but 'we went with Jay!!! Can't wait for our e-pics!!!!

im a tj bride..i know 5 diff people who have used them and i really think u cant go wrong with whoever u pick

Thanks girls. I'm still so confused. I'm a terrible decision maker which isn't ideal when it comes to wedding planning.

Anyway, I am considering dragging FH back to Duet to look at TJ and Jay's albums one more time. We were in a minor car accident on the way to our meeting with them this past Saturday and I felt like as much as I tried to really concentrate on the differences between them, I was still a little out of it.

How would you ladies describe the differences between Jay and TJ? I definitely agree that TJ is edgier but do any of you find his pictures more on the darker side than Jay's? This is such a tough decision since they are both AMAZING in very, very slightly different ways. I can't seem to put my finger on the difference.
