I'm asking this question for a little reassurance...here goes: When you went to Duet on your initial meeting, which studio did u visit (Huntington or Manhattan) and who did u deal with directly. We went to the showroom in the city, and although we were extremely impressed with their photos, The meeting had been a little short and I didn't get an overall view of the entire day like I had with some other vendors. I'm probably over-thinking this....right?

Re: Duet Brides, help!
We met in Huntington and our meeting was alittle brief as well. But we have dealt with Nicole from there and she has been very responsive and wonderful!

Re: Duet Brides, help!
We met with Nicole and Eric in Huntington and the meeting was probably about an hour long. We actually met with them 2x's b/c they were the first photographers we met with and we wanted to shop around. I went to another place the same day and there was no contest; we booked Duet that week. Now I cant wait to see our proofs!

Re: Duet Brides, help!
I met with Eric and Nicole in the city. The meeting was short, but I kind of liked it that way. I went to 5 other places, and 2 of them were very bossy telling me how my day would go, and that I would have to miss cocktail houre, etc...It's my day - I will plan it how I want it!!
If you are still not sure, call them back to ask questions, or set up another meeting. They are definitely not proactive in sharing info - you need to ask the questions.

Re: Duet Brides, help!
we met with just eric in the NYC office, and probably spent about 45 minutes with him. It was brief-and that did make me a little nervous, but my subsequent transactions with Nicole have been wonderful, thorough, and have convinced me to book with them. I thought that maybe the meeting was brief because English is Eric's second language, that he is not one to go on and on and on, like some vendors who feel the need to keep selling their work to you. The pictures spoke for themself, and I rather enjoyed not hearing a hard sell for once.

Re: Duet Brides, help!
we just met w/ Nicole in Huntington when we were looking. Our meeting was about 45 min. - we watched the vireo sample and looked at their albums and discussed packages. It was not very detailed as to discussing the day of the wedding. I think that should be discussed a few weeks before the wedding!

Re: Duet Brides, help!
I met with Nicole and Eric in Huntington and I don't remember the meeting being particularly short...probably about 45 mins to an hour...
They're great though, very accommodating and will just be there throughout your day. They don't tell you what's going to happen, you tell them...

Re: Duet Brides, help!
Ditto to what everyone has replied, more or less
Origianlly met Nicole and Eric in Huntington for under 1 hour ... they went over everything well with us and I was satisfied with all the details, prices, what was included, etc. We booked on the spot because I loved their video and sample photos !
Subsequently I emailed Nicole many times with so many little question, and she is great about promptly returning your emails and answering questions... they are very easy to deal with and even better, NOT pushy at all
