Duet brides... HELP

I just realized that my FH is going away for 2 weeks n Monday and I really wanted to get the photo/video done in Januray. SO on a whim I called DUET bc I almost def want them for photo. It turns out their promotional packages for 2004 END tomorrow and their will be new ones for 05 but prob at a higher price.I got an appointment with them tomorrow at 11am.... SO my questions are

What should I def aks them?
Have you seen their video's also, are they as good as photo?
Is there anything I should know before booking with them?
Is 4 grand an unreasonable budget for photo/video? (I want proofs, album and pics on cd....dont really care about parent albums)

Also if anyone could post of FM me with the details of their package and price I would be so grateful

HELP!!!

I went with Duet and booked recently. One of the LIW girls has this great checklist on what to ask certain vendors the important questions and Im sorry I cant remember

Anyways, I chose them on behalf of the work I have seen here on LIW and then seeing what they had to offer. Their albums are awesome and exactly what I we were looking for!! The package does include photo/video as well as the parents albums. Im sure u can ask what can be done if you dont choose and get those albums. Video, I think it was good work and Im sure the video comes out great but I was already sold on a videography from FSIL wedding so I opted to stay only with photo but Duet did say if I decide to add video, I could for the same price of package.

I wish I could help you out as far as price wise, but I know they raised their price a while back. Dont quote me but I think its around $4500 for photo and video. . If you want a questionnaire, I made some for each vendor that you are more than welcome to use. Just go under Questionnaires

I booked Duet also a couple of months ago and our photo/video package is around 4,000.
I don't think the casual day is included in my package. They said it is 300 if you choose a location on Long Island and 400 if you do the city. Good luck!

If you ask about the casual day when you go to book they will probably throw it in. They also threw in more thank you cards. We already did our casual day and the pictures came out great!

I booked duet, I think i got a package that came out to about 4800, we booked about 9 months ago. It was more expensive then the regular package because we are having the 'coffee table' book. I am so excited about using them! i also booked them for video, I got teary eyed watching their samples!
