How many assistants did Jay have with him? I am making out tip envelopes, and I am not sure if he has one assistant or two. Also, is the videographer separate from them, tip-wise? Thanks!!

Do you have 2 photographers in your contract? Jay didn't bring an assistant, but there was a second photographer named Danny with him.
Yes, the videographer would be separate.

I had 4 people there- Jay, Danny, the video guy (so bad I don't remember his name) and an assistant- he seemed to be assisting all three of them. I just had one tip envelope for photo & one for video, and let them figure it out amongst themselves (unless you wanted to clearly indicate how much each one gets). good luck!

Same here.
We had Jay and Danny as photographers, Lee for video, and Kevin (?) as the lighting assistant helping them all.
We had no idea there would be a lighting assistant that day. We had one envelope for photogs and one for video (double the tip in the photogs envelope). Now that I think about it, I don't think we tipped the assistant!!!

I had Jay & Danny (not assistant but 2nd photographer) plus video (whose name I cannot think of either!!)
