Duet Brides. *UPDATED*

I know, I'm needy today. I promise in 3 weeks I'll stop being such a post wh0re!

Anywho, I just got a text from Duet (love that they text) asking me to submit my checklist of must take photos. I'm going through it now and I feel like I just want to click them all. There's literally 3 that I didn't check off. I want ALL those things! LOL!

Also, if there's some unique shots you wanted to take, did you include a link or picture or description in those text boxes? TIA ladies!

Is there somewhere on their site thaty they ask you to complete? I've been avoiding the 'must take' list . . .

Yeah if you look under 'Forms' it gives you two you have to fill out- one is a schedule and the other is a must-take photo list.

But what confuses me is it's just a checklist. You just click off what you want them to take pics of and it's *very* basic. Like so:

Pre-Ceremony
__ Bride and attendants getting ready
__ Bride with Bridesmaid
__ Bride with detail of back of dress
__ Bride with Maid of Honor
__ Bride with parents
__ First meeting before ceremony
__ Flowers


I trust Duet, how could I not after seeing their work, but there's a few unique photos that I want to make sure they include. And the only space they really give you is this big text box. It's just strange is all.

i did the check list and my own list in a word document. one the word doc I added examples of the pics I wanted. but to be honest i dont think they had the list the day of. i had to tell them the places I wanted to take pics in the hall and i had to gather the relatives for the pics. if u have a doe give them the list and make sure they read it since the day of I was too busy to really think about it

Thanks for the heads up. I'm going to make sure I take that list with me to any appointments and, since I don't have a DOC, make sure my mom or someone else has the list handy on the wedding day!

yeah because of this my poor mom got stuck doing the family reeling in...if ur moh knows ur family i would have them do it cuz it drove my mom a little crazy cuz my relatives would be like oh one min...and take ten years. And know what places in ur hall u want pics at so u can say where u want to be. I almost missed one of my fav shots cuz the reception hall staff was politely moving me along lol

Haha yeah I'm not looking forward to the family wrangling! I already had to do that at the shower and it gave me a headache!

Okay, so since it's only text I can put in, I've been trying to describe everything as best I can. I know the descriptions in some cases are confusing, so if they need pictures, I have them to back them up, but there's just nowhere in the form to include them.

To a point- I know some girls have negotiated with them, but they don't budge on much. But they are very flexible about including and taking out things you need or don't need. And I think their prices are extremely reasonable in the first place. I remember driving to the first appointment with my mom and I was saying 'I want 2 photogs, 10.5 hours, this that and the other thing. And I want it for x amount of dollars.' My mom just laughed and said 'Good luck', but we were pleasantly surprised when they told us the pricing! I couldn't believe it! You can actually go onto their website and build a package and get a quote, check it out at www.duetwedding.com. HTH!
