So my FH and I took our Epics with Nick from Duet yesterday. When we were finished he told me it would take 2 MONTHS for me to get them back. Is it just me or is that totally unreasonable? I am pissed because I wanted to send out STDs with our Christmas cards. UGH!

I am a little upset as well. Everyone told me it would take 3 weeks tops to get them back, but Alberto told us 6 weeks!!! I hate waiting.
Apparently they are switching over from one server to another. I don't understand why they decided to do this during their peak season though...

I heard about 6 weeks when I first booked with them. They might be busy and trying to over estimate so they don't disappoint people. You might have them in time. Fingers crossed!

oh wow that is too long! they are just engagement photos, imagine wedding photos. maybe you can ask them for a few teasers so you can do your std!?!

I was told 6 weeks because this is their busy season, and they are going through a server change, which is delaying some of the proofs. It also depends on how busy the photographer is.

i tried asking for teasers and they said they would try to accomodate the request but they are updating their server blah blah blah.
WHY WOULD YOU UPDATE YOUR SERVER DURING PEAK SEASON? WHY WOULDN'T YOU WAIT UNTIL DECEMBER OR JANUARY?

I'm not sure about the epics but for the wedding photos, it took about 4 months to get our CD proofs and almost 6 months to get our video. They're prob backed up from their orders b/c they're getting more popular. Speaking from personal experience of working with them for my wedding, they do amazing work. Our wedding photos were beautiful! It's def worth the wait.!

I believe it takes longer during the busy wedding season.
They may come even sooner. Dont worry- theyre worth the wait!!

I don't think it should take that long! We had ours with Sam from Duet on Monday & he said about 4 weeks & FH said it needs to be done asap b/c we need to send out STDs.
