You're so sweet Helen! I figured it was another Jay shoot! And I am not blaming Sam at all! He's a doll!!! I just have to patient but man it is hard with everyone posting them like mad!

girl I hear ya! I'm sure you're feeling anxious!! maybe you can e-mail them and ask if they have a teaser pic at least? didn't Yesenia do that? it's worth a shot!

It's okay HelenZ. Actually when I showed my brother (a photography student) my pictures, he was kind of disappointed w/ Jay's work. I guess maybe it's b/c he's studying photography, he looks for certain things in photos. He was really surprised at how fast I got them back. I was kind of bummed out when he told me certain pictures that could have been done better if more time was spent on it. But I figure oh well....we took it already so too late now....
Personally I do like them, there were some that could be better but it's okay. I have to give Jay a lot of credit for returning from the hospital so soon. Overall, my FH and I like his personality and we're pretty content w/ his work.

How did you feel about it before you showed it to your brother though? Sometimes others opinions can really influence ours without even knowing it...

maybe b/c you're brother could possibly have a different style than Jay professionally, he might have been expecting something different. I think they are beautiful!!! I love this shot!!!!
remember, these are casual shots, so I think (at least from my experience w/ Jay) he's trying to capture a certain playfulness.....so maybe your brother took that as an amateur form of picture taking or something?? I don't know, I'm definitely not a professional!! lol have no worries though, Jay's wedding photography to me is what is truly beautiful!!! feel confident in what he will do for you on your big day!

I love them! I think he did a great job and I'm not sure what your brother is referring to specifically, but I personally think they're great! Congratulations!

Thanks Tara, you're really encouraging. Honestly, I was pretty excited to just get them. I didn't think that much into it. I figure hey...it's much better than what I could've taken.

I love them!!!!!!! If my pics with Duet come out 1/2 as good I'll be thrilled. Ok just a thought regarding your brother's comment. Could you ask him to take a couple of pics for you?
