Were you able to stagger the arrival of your photogs in order stretch out the amount of time you have them for in your contract?? I'm having an issue...

I had mine come as late as possible so they could leave as late as possible...our wedding was from 3pm (ceremony start time) - 12pm (reception end time). I had the photogs come to each of our houses at 1:30pm, that had them at my house for about an hour and his house for 1/2 an hour...that worked out really well and was perfect timing because they def needed more time at my house than his. SInce they started at 1:30pm they left at 11:30pm....they approached me at 11 to tell me we had 1/2 an hour left incase i wanted any last minute additional pics....hope that answers your question .

I did...my house at 12...FH at 12:30...I called and they said it was okay....good luck

yes, i had mine come a bit earlier so they could take pics of us getting ready, but they left a half an hour early before our reception ended which i didnt mind at all.

Same here. But I don't think they'd stagger for more than a 1/2 hour. They seemed pretty reluctant to do it when I suggested it.

im not getting married for a while but I have the 2 photog from duet for 10 hours my ceremony starts at 630 pm- reception ends at 1am. im having them arrive at my hotel and Fh's ready location at 3pm so that way they leave at 1 am. I care less about getting ready pics than I do about end of wedding pics. JMO.

Our contract had it so that 1 photog came to my house at 12:30 (ceremony was at 2) and the other one went directly to the ceremony around 1:30. We actually paid the photgs and videographer for an hour extra overtime b/c we wanted them to be there for our vienesse hour so they can take some pics/videos of it (which wouldve extended their stay til 11:30). However, they wound up staying for the entire reception and got a lot of great shots!
I think it depends on what it says originally in your contract. I spoke with Sue and she gave me a good deal on the OT charge for all 3 of them (it was cheaper than what was originally listed on the contract) plus they wound up staying til the end anyways which was awesome!
