Duet language

Duet language

We met with Duet Photography and were very pleased with their work and their pricing was fair.
But we had a hard time understanding whoever we met with. Is this something we would be dealing with on our wedding day with the photographers? And does all our planning go through whoever we book with or with the photographer?
Now that I posted this is see more more threads. Any advice on Duet would be appreciated.

Don't worry about the languauge chances are the person you met with won't be your photographer. Our photographer is Alberto and his english is fine....

we met with the owner yesterday. he was friendly but yes we had difficulty understanding him, but he assured us that all the photograhers are great and we should be able to understand all of them

The photographers speak much better english than the owner who works in the studio. When we did our E pics I had no problems understand the photog.

We had no problem with them at all. They are a bit soft spoken, but know what they are doing.

BTW, they are also very email proficient and you could always email them with questions if you felt that understanding them was a problem.

My friend used them two years ago and the photographers did speak clearly. They were pretty funny actually! Her album is amazing! I'm meeting with them this week as well.

Eric the owner is a bit difficult to understand. but all the photographers speak perfect english. My photographer for my e-pics was Woo and he spoke perfect english

you probably met with Eric...he is the office person only. We flat out asked him if there would be a language issue with the actual day of photographers and he said no...that he does not do weddings because his English is not good enough.

Our photographer Jay did our Epics and it was fine. His english is great and very easy to understand!

It was tough at first but you get used to them and most of the time they are telling you to kiss and how to stand... pretty hard not to understand that stuff. The contract and pricing info is the most you will need to talk about.
