Duet & Patken

Everyone keeps talking about Duet & Patken Photography. Does anyone know what there average cost is?

Also, does anyone have contact information for Duet and where they are located.

Thanks so much for you help.

Re: Duet & Patken

You can check out the OFFICIAL DUET PHOTOGRAPHY THREAD. Duet's number is 631-673-8783 and they are in Huntington Station on Jericho Tpke. Here is Duet's website:

Duet

You can get photography with 2 photographers and video for $3000 - plus all the other stuff like albums and thank yous, etc. If you check out the Duet thread it has the package info. Here are some of my wedding proofs if you want an idea of their work:

If you want anything else you can Forum mail me.

Re: Duet & Patken

I just went through the same dilemma..

I went to both Duet and Patken on Saturday...

Duet is $3,000 for the package listed on the Duet thread...but I added on and they never changed the price. Plus if you decide you want to purchase additional pictures they are very inexpensive (8x10 - $8)

Patken was wonderful too...for the same package as Duet he quoted me $4,750!!
(an additional 8x10 was $24)

I loved both of their pictures, but I liked Duet's album style better (and price too!!)

Good luck!

Let me know if you want any details.

I also met with both and used Doug @ Patken. He will work with you on $$ but he is WORTH every penny!

Re: Duet & Patken

OH MANNNNNNNN that just put a wrench in my heart..

..I have a feeling this is going to take as long as it did to find my perfect band. Which btw.. (I'm making a shameless plug) is
Echoe Orchestras (516) 766-6839
The owner happened to call me to thank me for writing a wonderful post the other day.... He's so nice!! If you havent picked a band yet, they are out of this world!!

Anyway, I guess it's back to square one w/ the photographers.. thank you for letting me know Kelly!!

Re: Duet & Patken

Are they booked all day? Both for a day and a night?

Kelly9904 Posted: Nov 06, 2003 04:17 PM

Re: Duet & Patken

I assumed that because Duet stays with you basically the whole day that they would be booked for both! Would it even be possible for the SAME photographers to do 2 weddings in one day?

I can say that they have 2 weddings bookd that day and they only have 2 teams of photographers however I know nothing about their video, so they might still be open.
