Duet Photography and Video

What can you tell me about Duet or who can you recommend?

My brother used Duet in 2007 and they were great. His video guy has retired so I'm on my own there.

Also (for those who have done the wedding) what were you happy with and what would you have changed relating to your pictures on the day?

I wanted to meet with Duet but they were unavailable (don't work Sundays) I loved their pictures!! Sorry I'm no help. LOL

As for pics, a few brides mentioned to make a list of the pictures you need/want b/c alot of important shots may be missed.

I'm using Alberto and his team because he has a higher quality camera...my cousin used jay and his team in 08 and Her pictures are beautiful..they have all their photographers albums on line...it was a hard decision because they all do fantastic work ...I am also sending them a must take photo list just to play it safe but sinces there's two people they don't miss anything

I used Alberto and had a great experience. Photo was very important to me and I have a friend who did work as a wedding planner and she recommended them to me. She used Danny only bc Alberto was already booked for her wedding date. She has already received her proofs and she was very happy with them. I got 3 proofs back (in my album) already waiting for the rest. My brother also used Alberto for his July wedding and every picture was nicer than the next even the unedited one!!!! I can't wait to see mine!

I would definitely make a list of what pics you want no photographer will guarantee that you will get all of them unless you have someone sitting there checking them off. Like I said photos were pretty important to me so I hired a DOC for this specific reason.

I used Nick recently and he was awesome

My secondary photographer was Kevin and he was also great

They were my second choice. When I meet with them I didn't get a great vibe. They were dull.

I went with Thomas Paul who is awesome! The kind of guy you want to spend a day with! His price was better.

I met with Duet also. They were my first choice till I met with Lighthouse. There were 2 reasons I went with Lighthouse instead: 1) some of Duets album options come as standards with Lighthouse and 2)Lighthouse photographers shoot in raw which means more edits can be made without distortion of the photo after its taken if need be. My father is an amateur photographer and so I have seen some of the edits he has done.

Funny.... we met with Duet last month and are meeting with Lighthouse on Tuesday. They were my top 2. I loved Duet's work (We were interested in Danny's work) but I feel like now I am really leaning towards Lighthouse though. Good to read your comment-to get that perspective.

Anytime! At this point I can't remember who at Duet we liked the most. Monica at Lighthouse is so sweet! Let me know which one you chose

we used DUET, and our team was TJ and Tim. You can see some of our pictures in my wedding review. It was tough choosing one of the photographers, as they are all amazing

TJ just branched out on his own. His business is called Angel Project Photography and he does amazing work. He does photo and video.

We used Alberto also, and I loved him!! He is an amazing photographer and a pretty awesome person as well, so he made me feel really comfortable. My photos came out amazing!
