I also posted this to Newlyweds but hoping someone here could answer....
in my contract it says 80 thank you- wallets. I'm not crazy about the wallets idea. I've seen a couple of brides get the thank you that's printed on the card and I'd much prefer that. Do you have any idea if we can substitute it? or would that be extra?

If it is in your contract, at this point you might have wiggle room to negotiate down any additional cost, but I doubt that you will be able to substitute them, because you already had a signed contract that called for a certain product, which means all they have to give you is what you bargained for...Yet, this does not mean that you shouldn't ask...what is the worst they can say? No? However, you probably can bargain them down, because for them, it is additional money.

were they thrown in or did you/are you paying for them?
if you are paying for them ask them if you can take that out of the contract and maybe save you some money - or negotiate something with them..
I know when i met with them and booked Eric told me that its not even worth it to have them do it, because you can just do them on snapfish and prob would be cheaper.. so we chose not to.

ya know what, maybe I will just do the shutterfly route...my sister designed everything else for my wedding- I'm sure she'd do an awesome job on my thank yous!!!

Eric told us the same thing. He can do it for $1.50 per TY. I wll check out shutterfly/ofoto/snapfish when my time comes...we'll see. I do like the larger picture, card style.
