Duet Wedding Photographer - RAW Images?

Hey there. I'm a photographer myself and I was curious if anyone knew whether Duet Wedding Photographers offer the RAW images on CD?

I wouldn't mind paying extra for them, but this is a serious part of my consideration in choosing a photog. because of my need to have RAW, un-edited images that I can use for color/exposure/print reasons.

I'd call/email and ask them. We're not using Duet... but when we spoke to our photog about wanting the RAW images, he included them for us.

Who's your photog? Thats something that we'd like to get. Just a photog who'll give us lots and lots of RAW images if possible.

I recevied a cd of over 5000 un-edited images. Not sure if they contained RAW images or not, but they also included a cd of 500 fully edited images.

Some photographers pick and choose their format throughout the wedding. They use RAW for important shots like portraits and the ceremony and switch to Jpegs to get the photos processed faster during the reception. You should be able to play around with both file types in Photoshop. My photographer is giving us all the image files, regardless of file type.

I'm not sure what file type they shoot in, but Duet gives a CD with all unedited photos.

ETA: I'm pretty sure they shoot in jpeg.

Duet shoots all pictures in RAW footage, if you go to their website and go under why Duet , they say that!

but im sure the unedited cd that they give the clients is jpeg because RAW files are huge.
they prob won't have a problem giving you the RAW file cd. Def call and ask them

Oh ok, but the CD they give you is definitely jpeg. I just checked. You'd have to specifically request RAW.

Ok - well it seems as though they will be accommodating, which is a huge relief. I understand that they shoot in RAW. But, having the ability to edit some of the photos as I see fit (pure black and white, black and white with splashes of color, etc) for printing shots in the future is a big deal for me.
