I just got back from CVS, while waiting on an impossibly long line I got into a conversation with the girl behind me, being as we are both pregnant, its like a little secret club. So during the course of this convo she asks me what I'm having I said a boy, I ask her what are you having she said either a boy or a girl........ reallllllllllllly, a boy or a girl, well I hope this boy or girl doesnt get your brains. Glad to know your not having a chimp.....duhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

We didn't find out, and when people ask I say 'I don't know.' To which I usually get 'So it could be a boy or a girl, right?'

This week I started saying 'Yes, hopefully it's a human baby' My mom says it's obnoxious, but really, what else would it be? A puppy?

Could it be she doesnt know the sex of the baby. that she waiting to find out when she gives birth? Otherwise that's too funny.

That is too funny!!

I used to get irritated when my MIL would answer for me if someone asked while she was around what the sex was. She would remark with that same 'Well, it will either be a boy or a girl'. No sheeet, really???? I was thinking it mike come out a cyclopse!!! Idiot!!

It is pretty funny what stupid comments, and responses you get from people during this time.... but I'm sure that people are just nervous about what to talk about sometimes. They want to seem interested in our pregnancy, and don't think through what they'd want to say... so then stupid comments come out.

However, the fact the the mom-to-be herself said that, that's hilarious! hahaha

That's pretty funny! I had the same reaction when my sister went to her sonogram to find out what she was having and the technician said it's 50% a girl. Yeah - I knew that when I came in here! 50% girl or 50% boy.
