I don't know whether to choke him or feel bad b/c he's so upset..Never could lie. We're eating dinner tonight and he say, 'What are you doing Sunday? Want to go to lunch around 1 oclock?' First of all we never go out to lunch usually dinner, and for him to ask now on a monday!!!! He's never that far ahead of himself! So I guess it's this weekend, Great now I'm going to spend all week thinking aboiut what to wear and practicing my surprise face in the mirror!!!!

That could be; in my experience, usually your mother or bridesmaids would bring you there not your FI.

I can totally relate! My fiance is dying to tell me when the shower is...I think to relieve himself of the pressure! He has dropped some obvious hints too! But I'm not mad...I'm such a baby that I can't stand not knowing what other people are planning!

LOL Jess! My FH did the same thing when he was going to propose. He asked me on our way to LI for Thanksgiving if I wanted to go see the Empire State Building on Christmas Eve when we came back. In about one second I went from thinking how strange it was that he wanted to plan one month ahead of time to go to the city that weekend since we were only coming up for a few days to 'OMG, he is going to propose on Christmas Eve.'
Which he did.

I'm sorry - its so fun to be surprised! My FH is great at keeping secrets so he hasn't slipped at all. (Its everyone else that does! ) Nobody has told me when it was but they have tried to catch themselves after they start to say things about how it is *soon* and I pretend I didn't hear them b/c I know they want me to be surprised! And, I'd love to be - I've never been surprised in my life (even though FH thinks I had no clue about the engagement)! Hopefully I'm wrong about the shower and they surprise me!

You will still be surprised...at the people that are there, and the wonderful gifts that you will get!!
I have always been to bridal showers where the FH brings the bride to the place...the mother and the BM's are TOO busy setting up to do that also!!

He's probably trying to throw you off. I thought I knew for a moment when my shower was.My DH told me that I would be very disappointed because it was not THAT day. So I got it out of my mind and it WAS THAT DAY.
