This is probably a dumb question- but I have no idea how many rooms have been blocked at the hotel- how do I find out?

depends on the hotel.
we used the huntington hilton and were able to get an emailed list of who had booked & which nights they were staying

we call and they send us an email with the name of those who have reserved

call and ask. They send us an excel spreadsheet that outlined who booked, how many rooms they're taking, and for how many nights. (We had a lot of people come in on Sat for our Sunday evening wedding).

They should be able to send you a report of who has blocked so far.

just call the person you have dealt with when you originally booked them. i actually emailed her and she sent me an excel sheet with everyones names.
actually now the huntington hilton has a website that your guests can go on to book rooms and you can also sign in to check who has booked. so i have just been doing that.
