I'm supposed to get AF in a few days, so I picked up a HPT just in case (we started TTC this month)
It says that you should use it the first time you go to the bathroom in the am. Does that mean when I wake up at 4am to go, or when I get up later for work? Does it really matter?

Your urine is more strong in the morning, but my friend took one in the middle of the day and it didnt matter, she was pregnant. Sending positive vibes

It should be fine to use the 4am urine-the longer the urine is in your baldder, the stronger the hormones. Good luck.

Thanks. I feel so silly asking, but I don't have anyone else to ask. We aren't telling anyone we are trying, in case it takes a long time. We don't want to get anyone's hopes up (besides mine)

I also tested about 4 days earlier than my period was expected and used one of those FRED tests (First Response Early Detection). It detects lower levels of hcg hormone.
