If I have just square invitations (no folding) do I still need to use tissue paper in my envelopes? Sorry if its a dumb question, I'm clueless about this! Thank you!

You do not have to use the tissue, but if you do it goes on top of the invite.

Re: dumb invitation question
I am.(I have square invites also) Mine just came with the tissue paper. I don't know the real point of it, but since it came with it i might as well use it. Not to mention I like it with the tissue paper Hope this helps.

Re: dumb invitation question
Thank you all for your help! Mine also came with the tissue paper, so I guess I will use it to seperate the invitation from the response, etc. Also not really sure of the importance, but oh well! Thanks again.

Re: dumb invitation question
From what I have read, the tissue paper was placed in the invites so that the print would not smudge. Now it is just decorative.

If you have it, use it. If not, no one is going to notice-it is not necessary. We sent out square invites with no tissue paper and we get complements every day on them. Purely a matter of choice on your part.
