Dumb Makeup question

Dumb Makeup question

I got my trial done recently. Good but not what I want, so going to do it again (this is another story, sorry).

So, I asked if there was anything to be done to ensure that the lipcolor stay for a while. I was told there was nothing more than re-applying. However, since this was a trial, I had no color lipstick/gloss to match the color.
In less than 2 hours (and one cup of wine), there was no lip color left. btw - was informed at booking that trial was for e-shoot.

I guess I was wondering if anyone's makeup person did anything to ensure the color stays for a while and/or did the makeup person leave you with something so that you could reapply color on the day of your wedding. Or is this something I need to worry about, meaning I better figure out my color ahead of time and have a matching lipstick with me.

Thanks.

On the wedding day I had a lip gloss similar in color that I used.

During my TTD shoot last week, Stacy Doolan let me keep the lip gloss! I love it!

I am going to buy my own lipstick to use that day so I have the exact one.

I bought the lipstick, gloss, and finisher that she used........the exact same colors and products.

ETA: I bought it from my makeup person though - I didn't pick it out before hand.

My MU artist gave me the names and brands the lip pencil, lip gloss and blush she used on me. I bought them so I can re-apply all night.

Kelly from Glam me up said she would give me samples to touch up throughout the day. I don't want the stay on lipstick so i am buying my own lip gloss to i have plenty to touch up with.

Kelly told me she would give me enough to last the night as well. I may buy a backup just in case.
