What is the purpose of wearing the garter on your wedding day???

And if you are doing the garter toss, do you wear the toss one and the good one or just carry the toss one to the rh???

You wear the toss one cause DH is suppose to take it off of your leg. You can wear 2 just be sexy. Its more tradition than anything else. I am wearing 2. The toss one and then I am trying to find a special one FH will like. HTH

I'm not doing a garter toss. Most of the people that will be at our wedding are married or engaged
