I think they consider you fertile right before you ovulate. Because you have the right kind of CM to bring the sperm to the egg. (or something like that). SO you BD during that time because once you O its too late.

I just saw a Redbook magazine that had a very interesting article about pregnancy myths. the article said that when you ovulate, there is a 6 hour window for the sperm to meet the egg. So it's best to BD before you ovulate, otherwise it could be too late.

So that means that I would get pregnant before this. So BD during this time would do no good? Im so confused!

like I said, you are fertile before and (i think) WHEN you ovulate. So when it says you are most fertile, you should be BDing then.
