Yeah.. I was hoping to change mine, too. But, I only have 11 posts now. And the wedding is Saturday.. I doubt I'll post another 989 times before then.

we just booked sandals in st. lucia, i heard so many great things from people who had their honeymoon there. i am just worried because our HM is at the end of hurricane season!! what about you, where are you going?

We're going to Acapulco. I wanted to go somewhere crazy at first so we booked Venezuela. Then I heard about how much they are after Americans down there and we quickly rebooked. I just want some tequila and a lounge chair.

So what are your colors?

I wish I could.. it's so crazy right now. I have to run to my mother's to dry clothes (my dryer broke.. ) and help her clean for Saturday. Then FH and I are going to drop off our stuff tonight at Chateau La Mer, then tomorrow I get my dress... Then Friday, I get my nails done and try to rest.. Can't believe it's 3 days away..

we started with just eggplant, but then we added some green - and i ended up with a wine-themed wedding!!! lol... it's perfect, because FH and i met in a bar... he was the bartender!! that never happens in real life, right? hehe

sounds perfect. We still haven't found a real theme. I fell in love with the colors of the bridesmaids dresses (sienna) b/c it's such a rich fall color. I'm pretty much baseing everything on that and rhinestones. There are so many little things I'm still trying to pull together. It's hard b/c FH is always yelling at me for putting so much into the planning. He wants to elope and thinks this is all a waste of my time.



I wish I could find a way to get through to him.

There's still so much to be done!!

don't let him sway you!!! i was the one who wanted the laid-back, backyard bbq, and FH and my mom convinced me to do that big 'long island wedding,' lol, and now i wouldn't change a thing. you only get married once!! do it the way that makes you happiest.

i love your color, sienna is so pretty, and perfect for fall.

I know that it will pay off in the end. I just get so frustrated sometimes. I literally doing EVERYTHING and I still have to hear him complain. We set a budget together and I've stayed within it. But he still complains every time an expense comes up. Even though I made every decision with him!!! Sometimes I just want to cancel the whole thing! Even when I assign things to him, he doesn't do it. I have to step in and take care of things otherwise our out-of-town would sleep in the street, there would be no music and the guys would be naked

are you doing any DIYs? I've been trying to get started on mine.

my only DIY's are the centerpieces and printing out the placecards/table names. we decided not to do flowers, we found these amazing fake bunches of grapes online and we are doing huge piles of those in gorgeous green glass bowls we found at ikea. we are also doing votives, which almost seems silly because our wedding is during the day, but i adore candles and i had to have them!!

I'm thinking about doing the centerpiece ourselves. I also am making petal cones, placecards and the unity candle. Goodness there's still so much to do.
