Dumb Question

Dumb Question

For some reason I thought that the typical reception was 1 hour cocktails and 5 hour reception. I just realized ours is a 1 hour cocktail and 4 hour reception. Is that normal? I'm braindead today and really can't remember!

Yes, it's a total of a five hour reception normally. One hour cocktails, four hour reception. That's typical.

Yes, that is normal. It is 1 hour cocktail hour, and 4 hours of the wedding. You nac have them extend it for another hour for a fee.

Our reception will be total 5 hours (1 hour cocktails, 4 hour dinner/dancing/dessert).

Our reception will be a total of 6 hours.. so we may do the 1 hour cocktail, 5 hour reception.. but we may also extend the cocktail for an extra half hour.. not sure yet..

you haven't lost it yet!!! 1 hour for cocktails and 4 hours for reception is normal. Some people extend the reception time. My wedding will be a LONG day with ceremony at 3:00 and cocktail hour starting at 7:00 so I am sticking with the 5 hour total.

A normal reception is 5 hours. Mine is going to be 6 1/2 hours. A 1/2 hour for pre-cocktail hour, 1 hour cocktail hour and a 5 hour reception (full Viennesse hour).

I had 1 hr cocktail and 4 hour reception. I wish I could of added 1 hr more to the reception but I still had an amazing time.

Usually its one hour cocktail hour and a four hour reception. We added a half an hour to our reception. I know its going to go by so fast.
