DUMB QUESTION!!

Has anyone had a march wedding, like early march in the first 2 weekes. i haven't been back in NY in march in about 3 years, and I forgot how the weather is. I am getting married in March 2005 and wanted to know what the weather is like? cold, snow? Everyone is saying I'll get a snow storm, (i don't mind) but everyonelse does. I don't remember snow in March

Re: DUMB QUESTION!!

this past year there was a lot of snow....or at least a lot of cold!
hopefully 2004 will be better....i'm getting married in april, so i'm praying for a mild winter.
i don't think you should prepare for snow...but i'm pretty sure it'll be chilly!!

Well, if you don't mind the snow, then leave the worrying to the people who do! And that's assuming there will be snow. As palebride said, this year there was a lot of snow, but that's unusual.

Crystal,

My dads secretarys son got married right around the date you have chosen..it was last yeaer, and last year was a different Marh......it was a WET MARCH thru JUNE! But I would not be worried about a snowstorm on your wedding! And if you do have one, just go sledding at Pierson Hill!! THose would make GREAT pics!! hahaha

Re: DUMB QUESTION!!

It is usually still pretty cold in March. But It all depends on what kind of winter we will have because you never know in NY. It could be in the 40's one year and then 85 the next year. If you don't mind the snow then go for it and everyone else will just have to deal with it!

I am getting married on the last weekend in March so I am kind of worried myself, but the truth is in ny anything cold happen, I can handle the cold as long as there is no snow, and the sky is blu

Re: DUMB QUESTION!!

I'm getting married March 28th and we are having a spring theme with butter dresses, yellow roses and daisys!! LOL! I'm prepared for any type of weather though cause you just never knoow. I hope its not to cold , but it can be. JUst go with what you want and know that no matter what you will enjoy your day. My only concern is a late season blizzerd bad enough so people cant get there. But these things arent in my control.....

Re: DUMB QUESTION!!

plan for the worst, hope for the best.

My FSIL this past March 28th,,,has sun early, then got gray and drizzle,,,FREEZING for us in our dresses, and then rain come nighttime.

My other FSIL got married a few years ago first sat in April and it snowed the day before, but the day of was sunny and beautiful.

you can never tell with the crazy weather.
