dumb question about florist

dumb question about florist

Okay, I am contemplating between the two. I like one of the florist little more than the other. The problem is is that he gave me a quote which was significantly higher than the other. My question is...did any of you negotiate on the Quote? I feel like either way he might make it up when we start adding towards the end. Should I even bother? How did you handle this? I need to hurry up and book them! ARgh! Frustrated! Thanks gals!

Negotiate everything!!! They want your business and should try and please you to get it! When meeting with vendors I usually tell them details I received from another vendor i.e.,'well for the same bouquet, so and so quoted me $25 less'. Usualy the vendors will at least meet half way. That has been my experience.

Good luck!

Thanks girls. Being that it is a quote, I am hoping that we keep as close to the quote as possible.

I think you should definetly try to negotiate...we did and we wound up getting a great price in the end

Why don;t you test them. Go into each store on the same day, buy the same flower and see which one last longer. Also, show the higher price one the lower est, see what they can do,

I would definitly try and negotiate. Most wedding vendors that I have met with were willing too - you must approach them about it first! Good Luck!
