Dumb question, but I have to ask about votive placecards!
The votive placecards that you ladies on here have done look incredible! So pretty. Here's my dumb question - are they lit when people are grabbing them to find out where they sit or do they get lit later? LOL, just a dumb blond question!

Yes...but I think they're supposed to be lit like half way through the cocktail hour so they're not too hot when the guests pick them up. My mom asked me the same question about these the other day. I'm going to attempt to make them too.

Yes they are lit. I know mine (I got from Target) are super thick & I had my lit for a number of hours & they were still NOT hot to the touch.
