i was confused about this too! they go on the bar the cocktail hour... someone pointed out if you put them on the bar in the reception room you would need several hundred!

Same here. I'm not ordering many, so I'm not anticipating there to be much left for the reception.

I think I read on here that you should order enough that there is 2-3 napkins per person. We are going to order them through e-bay.
