OK, I dont know if there is a difference BUT I am trying to do seating and I was was not sure if it matters what side the bride & groom sit on at the sweetheart table. I know whichever side I am on ym fmaily goes next to me, I am confused

I don't think it matters.
Maybe you could do it by what side of the bed you sleep on?

umm I'm not sure how that works, but I know when my sister got married, her reception was at Chateau Briand...and they designated sides for her..
