Can you start using your bridal shower gifts right away or are you supposed to wait until after the wedding? I am dying to use them!

When are you officially married? After the church ceremony or when you get the marriage certificate from Albany in the mail?

I started using some of shower gifts right away (blender/food processor/waffle maker).

I believe you are officially married once you are pronounced husband and wife by the officiant.

I already started using some of the gifts we got...except the towels and things that are monogrammed

I think its a personal preference, we waited to use the shower gifts until after we were married. You are officially married after the officiant pronounces you (that will be the date that appears on the certificate you will receive from the State)
