Duvet Cover Owners...Question

How annoying are they? Everytime i find bedding i like its a duvet!
does it shift alot? would you buy another one? do you not recommend it?

I love my Duvet and refuse to buy anything else!

Sometimes the filler moves, but not often, and its really easy to adjust (just pull filler to corners of duvet and shake out)

I use duvets.. Mine don't shift at all and I find duvet covers are an easy way to change the look of the room a bit without having 800 comforters or quilts around the house.

I love duvet covers. They are a lot less bulky, so you can change off easily without having big comforters all over the place. They are much easier to wash. They don't move much, sometimes you have to shake them or move them but its never a big deal.

I have a duet - i do not find that it shifts at all and putting it in was very easy

i like the idea of Duvet covers...you can change up the look of ur bedroom easily but my duvet shifts all the time!! sooo annoying....i woke up in the middle of the night because FH was fighting with the duvet...LOL

I HATE HATE HATE duvet covers. We had this to start and couldn't stand it, now we have a comforter and we are much happier. But again, this was us, I know a lot of people who love it.

i have to agree this is what we have now and I CANT WAIT to get rid of it ... i find it a real pain to put it over the comfortor .. you have to stuff it in there close the buttons and sometimes i feel it doesnt stay in place ... most of the time after we wash the sheets and everything we dont even bother putting the duvet cover on ... i am planning on registering for regular comforter bedding!!!

I had a Duvet and I Found that it always moved around and it didnt look right. To me, the duvets were just annoying. They do have duvet cover clips at Bed Bath and Beyond which keep the cover in place better.

I have had a duvet for the last 3 years and I love it! It doesn't shift around at all. It is a little bit of a pain to put the duvet back on after washing it, but I think it's worth it for the fact that it is much easier to wash a duvet cover than it is to try to stuff a whole comforter in the wash. Plus, FH has this terrible habit of sleeping without a top sheet...he only uses the comforter. So with a duvet I can just wash the cover every week when I wash the sheets. It's really convenient!

I love my duvet! As long as you get a comforter that's really plush and fills it up you won't have a problem with it shifting. Plus, it's a lot easier to wash just the duvet

i wont use anything else but a duvet. just be sure to get a plush comforter to fit inside it, and really, it wont shift. we have a very thick down comforter and it the bed is always fluffy and comfy.

eta: they also sell duvet clips for that problem, if it shifts.

I have a douvet and i love love love it.

mine is from ikea! just make sure you put the right size comforter in it and you will be fine. mine doesnt shift.

i prefer douvet's because they are easier to clean often!!
