dyeable shoe or not????

dyeable shoe or not????

I do not know if I am going to find a blue shoe that I like in a price range that won't totally break the bank. I think I may just get a dyeable shoe and dye them the specific blue that I want....what do you all think?

I think finding a regular dyeable shoe is the best way to go. 1) It's a shoe you will be wearing only for a few hours. 2) It can be hard to find a shoe in a specific color.

I'm actually thinking of doing the same thing; but my FSIL told me one time she dyed shoes and when they got wet the color bleed.

I'm not sure if her dye job was bad or if it actually happens to a lot of dyed shoes. But it is definitely much cheaper than the majority of blue dress shoes out there.

That happened to my mom once too w/ dyeable shoes.. so I would watch where you get them from.

I can't remember where hers were from though, as it was awhile ago.

Hmm...well if it is raining....I could always buy a pair of slippers or flip flops to wear outside and put the shoes on inside or whenever its dry...sounds like a plan???

I think that sounds like a plan. It's just a pair of shoes, they aren't going to make or break your big day ya know?

yea that's what i thought....and i seriously don't want to spend loads of money on a shoe that's already blue and its hard to find the blue that i want too..so this way, I can customize it ya know

I think you are being very smart about it. :) Do you have a place in mind to get it done?

I am doing the same thing! I want blue shoes to match my bm dresses. I am planning on going to Sandy's Shoes (the store is a vendor on here under shoes). I love a lot of the shoes from the website and they sound like they do a great job coloring them!
