I went to Bridal Boutique in Westbury (right next to DSW) They had a decent selection - the prices weren't too cheap - about $50 for a basic sandal, but they have a good selection of dyeables.

You can also try DSW - you might luck out and get a great deal.

Payless has a bunch, really decent selection, and they are ready in about 10 days.

Re: Dyeable shoes - Can anyone reccomend a place to buy them?

We all got our shoes at Sandy's Shoes in Massapequa Park, right on Sunrise Hwy, across from the Massapequa Park train station. They have lots of different shoes and were very helpful .. even let us save time by bringing in swatches ahead of time so they could prepare the dye, which they said is what takes the majority of the time of the dye process. I had a couple of girls who were out of town in the final weeks before the wedding, so it became a bit of a trick to have their shoes for their final fittings and have them dyed as well. Them getting the dye ready before having the shoes was a HUGE help! I believe the lady who helped me was Louise.

Dyeing For You in Lindenhurst has a lot of shoes to choose from. And they have shoes starting at $20 to $60. They do a great dye job and it's included in the price for shoes. They're on Wellwood Ave. in Lindenhurst.
