How can I find out something I won if it's more than 30 days?
I won something. Had a problem with Pay Pal and didn't send the seller my check until 3 weeks later (but she knew my situation). The check is cashed and I have yet to receive my goods.
I have the item # and i have her real name but I can't remember her ebay name, and I don't have her e-mail address at work.
What can I do?

FM me the item number. Also did you pay by paypal? If you paid by paypal, you can look up the item on there and check out her info

I found the number and plugged it into the search box and found it. I just e-mailed her.
What kills me is that she cashed the check a month ago. I hope she sends the stuff or I'm complaining to Ebay.

First rule of thumb for you....Never pay by Check. I only pay by money order or PayPal...Never by check.

complain to ebay NOW, the longer you wait, the less chance you have to rectify the situtation with ebay's help.

I wonder too. I mean a money order is almost cash isn't it? A check at least offers a cancelled check so you can see who cleared it.

I could see sending a money order if you are uncomfortable with people seeing your bank information & signature, etc. But at least you have some recourse in terms of stopping the check if it gets lost and you can prove when it cleared your account to dispute late shipments.
I don't think a money order is like cash to the recipient - you still have to deposit it and go through regular banking channels to get the funds.

You also have a little insurance with a money order. You could probably go through the place you got the money order to get your money back, but with a check....It may be harder. I wouldnt want anyone to see my bank account number or other info thats on a check either
