Hello Ladies! I am somewhat new to the boards, but always get such helpful advice. I am looking for a place to have an engagement party. We have a few ideas of area restaurants, but most will only give us an afternoon. Ideally we were hoping to find a restaurant with a private or semi-private room that could accommodate about 80 guests for dinner. We'd like a sit down party, but are open to cocktail parties or buffet. We are trying to stay away from catering halls. But any advice is appreciated as are suggestions from your own experience!! Thanks in advance!

I did mine at Martha Clara Vineyard, it was awesome, everyone loved the scenery. However, I didn't like the people who worked for them and for that I would not recommend it. But maybe check into other vineyards, its a nice change of pace.

we had ours at the Milleridge Carriage House and it was amazing i highly recommend it
