Where are some good places to have a engagment party for about 40 people that is not too expensive? I am open to Queens, LI, Brooklyn, etc.

Try Joe Abbracciamento's on Woodhaven Blvd in Rego Park or Prima Pasta on Cross Bay Blvd in Howard Beach (they have a back room that is nice and they are reasonably priced). Another good one, I am having mine at, The Beach Club in Rockaway Beach. It's nice and I fell in love with it. They have pricing on their website The Beach Club. If you do call, ask for Donna, she was AWSOME!! If I think of anymore, I will let you know. Good Luck!!

Mine is a Katie Daly's in Massapequa. It is very resonably priced. It is not very formal.
