E- Party

FI and I are contemplating having an E party this summer. Where are you girls having one? How many people?

Re: E- Party

We are having a very informal engagment party at the beginning of June in our yard. We don't have a big yard so it is probably going to be immediate family for the first few hours. Then we can invite our friends to join us later when some of the guests have left. We want something very casual, so we will barbecue and order heros, salads, etc.

We just booked - we're having ours at the Snapper Inn in Oakdale in May. About 75 people - which just consists of close family and the birdal party! Phew!

We're doing one up in Boston this June (the FH is from there along with most of our friends). We're doing it at a local hall and we're doing a theme, which is TBD! It's going to be low key and not expensive. Our family is going to cook for it.

we are thinking of having one in our backyard. We move into our apartment in a week or so and have access to the front and back yards. nothing crazy about 50 ppl or so. burgers, dogs, heros, beer.

i was gonna start an E-party subject but since there is already one i'll ask my question in here.

How far in advance do you start planning and send invitations? We are thinking the first week in june.

My mother threw us a very informal surprise engagement party at my aunts house. She kept the invite list to family only. Finger foods (that were all homemade with love by my mom ) and different wines were served as was an array of desserts. We loved it

I'm doing mine at a club in NJ. Close family and friends. Very inexpensive in late Apr.
