HI Ladies, I was hoping you could give me some feedback. My paretns decided to throw FHand I an E Party, but i am stuck and need some advice.
my parents chose a knights of columbus hall which doesnt bother me at all, they are doing a buffet dinner, again perfect if you ask me. my questions is are centerpieces ok? It is October so I was thinking pumpkins w mums inside, simple and fall-ish.
and how shold the invites be written.
Any advice woudl be helpful! thanks ladies!

centerpieces are fine, its your party, you can do what you want! I think pumpkins with flowers are cute, I did that for my sisters e party.
we did our invites on cvs.com's photo section. they actually had engagement party ones. we used a nice photo of us and then put in the date, place and time and who to rsvp to and by when. we didn't put who was throwing the party on the invite but you can use your parents address as the return address and their phone # for rsvp so i am sure guests will figure it out.
fh's parents threw ours but we did all the leg work with the invites so they wouldn't have to be bothered.

You can do centerpieces. I think you idea is great. I did invitations with vistaprint for my e-party.

Same here...I uploaded a poem and printed them through vistaprint. I had it in my backyard and just got some candles as centerpieces and it was just fine.

our parents threw us a 'meet-and-greet' for just our families and bridal party. since it was intimate, it was word of mouth invites, not formal. But my mother made centerpieces with led candles, snowflakes, wintery flowers -very simple,but beautiful!

I love your centerpiece idea! I think the pumpkin with mums inside is very cute and month specific for October. For my party, I went to Office Max and purchased a wedding invitation kit and printed them out myself. Here is a link to the invitations that I used:
