E-Party???

Hi Girls

I was just wondering where everyone had their engagement party (if they had one). FH and I are trying to find a place to have either a brunch or night party we are not sure yet, just trying to get some ideas. My sister had her's at Russo's and it was a brunch which was sooo nice, just wanted a diff place. Any ideas??????

THANX

I'm going to do mine next summer (a year before the wedding).

I'm actually thinking about renting out a sky box at a LI Ducks game for it! My dad has a connection there!

Check out Roma View catering on Cross bay Blvd. Prices are great, food is good and the place is nice. It books fast though so if you are set on a date give them a call first. HTH!

I love the bowling idea. You could have a 'team Jenn' and a 'team alfonse' - see who wins! Make up cute bowling shirts for you guys! hahahahaha

Wow, I have a competitive streak, eh?

I LOVE DARTS!!!!!!!!!!!

Let's meet up sometime and play!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm all about the competition. FH is the same way. He was the NCAA national tennis champ in college (sorry, I'm just SOOOO proud of him!!! ) so we ALWAYS compete!

You name the time and place, Jenn!

I have been working!!! I am a bookkeeper for my fam business and the accountants are coming tomorrow so I've been doing bank recs and journal entries and stuff. In fact, I'M STILL HERE!!!! Aaaaaaaarrrrrrrgggggghhhhhh!!

NWR: My bro and I are actually going to meet up with some of our clients in NYC for drinks one night (10/20 Friday) around 8pm. Can you recommend any cool places where we won't have to shout to talk?

Absolutely! Where are they gonna be - do you know? Do you know the address or the part of town...?

I specialize in bar/lounge recommendations

Re: E-Party???

You have FM!!

They're coming from Mt Arlington, NJ so we haven't picked a general area yet... Any suggestions?

Re: E-Party???

FM back atcha!

Welllllll, I live on the upper west side (in the upper 60's), so I'm biased. I love it up here. There are a lot of really classy places up here. Its close to Lincoln Center and the NYC Opera and Ballet, so there are really nice places in the area. Let me know what kind of place you're thinking about.

haha did someone say irish times and a car bomb? That brings back memories!

To answer someones question....try the riverview or the snapper inn for a nice brunch in Oakdale. Nice water views and very good food!

GREAT idea. Both are so pretty and reasonable.

Yes, I agree Riverview was great for a brunch! Also Irish Coffee Pub in Islip and Garden Grill in Smithtown.

And Bonnie and I are sorry for crashing this post.
