I love the fmil, but wish she would check with us before she does things wedding related....
she picked out announcements that neither FI or I are are fan of...
now she just scheduled the engagement party without checkign the weekend with us first! It would have been nice if she had consulted with us to see if we had any plans (which we tentatively did with friends). But I am grateful that she is so willing and excited to throw us an engagement party.
