E-Party

I was thinking about having a mini card box at the e-party, do u girls think its not appropriate or they should only be used for weddings???

We're not having an e-party but I don't think I would do a card box there.

i honestly wouldnt. I am thinking that if someone has an envelope to give as a gift, they would give it you and your FH...then you guys can hold on to it or put it in a safe place.
Maybe if there are people that just put the cards on the table with the other gifts, you can have someone like your mom, dad or someone like that collect them off the table so none go missing?

For my engagement party, I had a fancy-looking gift bag (bought from the dollar store) and I put cards in there. I also had a larger shopping bag with me because a couple of people brought gifts. It worked out just fine.

I wouldn't do it, save it for the wedding. Just have a little pouch or bag to take home the cards. At mine the guest put it on top of a piano towards the back of the room along with their gifts.
