Re: E-Party

I just had mine this morning/afternoon. We did a brunch. I gave my MOH's, bridesmaids, and my mother and FH's mother corsages to wear. FH asked his groomsmen to be groomsmen at the party.

We did a small cake cutting and that was really it. Nothing major or outrageous, just a little something to remind people why they were there.

ETA: I guess the 'different' thing we did was that FH made me have them serve Tator Tots. That's right....a nice brunch at a country club and we needed TATOR TOTS. The banquet manager said he's been working there for 2 years and this is the first time they've served Tator Tots. However, they were a HUGE hit!

Re: E-Party

Are you making the candy bar yourselves or are you hiring someone to do it? I'd love to know how you're putting it together!
Where did you buy your 'team bride' T-shirts?

Such great ideas!

Re: E-Party

Lets see, we had a cocktail party at Novita in Garden City with an open bar and finger food. We blew up some of favorite pics to 8x11's and used them as centerpieces and we also had simple long vases feat white flowers and peacock feathers. We also had a dj. The party itself was memorable. People had a blast and it's still talked about. We had 100+ people, and both families LOVED each other. We kept the music lively, kept the kids occupied by providing them with a kids table, with pumpkins filled with candy and coloring books and crayons and gave them kiddie food (it was around halloween), and really let the adults have a ball.

When we had ours we hired a dj and had an open bar...we hired the girl to do the zap shots and we had a collage going on the projection screen...people had a good time- but I dont know if it was anything out of the ordinary
